A colonic, also known as colon hydrotherapy or colon irrigation, is a procedure that involves the cleansing of the colon using warm water. During a colonic session, a specially designed device is used to gently introduce purified water into the rectum. The water helps to soften and loosen impacted waste and debris, which is then flushed out of the body through a tube connected to the device. The process aims to remove accumulated toxins, waste, and other substances from the colon, promoting improved colon function and overall well-being.

As a general guideline, we advise you to consume high-water content foods such as fruits and vegetables and minimize processed foods in the days leading up to your appointment. It is important to stay hydrated by drinking 8-10 glasses of water per day. On the day of your colonic session, opt for light meals and refrain from eating anything 2-3 hours before your scheduled appointment. Additionally, to prevent discomfort during your session, we recommend avoiding the consumption of liquids one hour prior to your appointment to prevent a full bladder.

Following a colonic session, it is generally acceptable to resume your regular daily activities. However, we advise opting for light, easily digestible foods that are gentle on your digestive system. Additionally, it is crucial to stay well-hydrated by drinking ample amounts of water after your session. To ensure optimal comfort, we suggest refraining from engaging in exercise or strenuous physical activity for a period of 2-3 hours post-session.
